Who’s That New Team?
In the men’s 10k, the race was just as competitive as predicted with nearly all of the top 10 under 34:00. LRC was led by Trevor Vidlak (32:33) who won his first competitive race of the spring, followed by Ivan Ivanov (5th, 33:32), Neil Wolford (7th, 33:40), Michael Rathje (8th, 33:43) and Logan Watley (10th, 34:11). Andrew Jacob (34:16), Tim Larsen (37:26), Derek Sekora (37:49) and Brian Kelley (43:19) also helped represent LRC. Trevor’s time places him at 4th on the team’s Top 10 Charts, while Ivanov’s time jumps him to 9th on the list, and also a master’s record.

In addition, Ryan Dostal ran the Cherry Blossom 10 mile in Washington DC over the weekend. Although there were some course complications (a diversion towards the end of the race that resulted in a shortened race), Ryan ran extremely well, placing 40th overall out of nearly 7,000 runners. Those full results can be found here.
Nearly every member of the LRC Racing now is now fully focused and geared up for either the Boston Marathon or the Lincoln Half/Full Marathon.
