Racing Update

Lots of racing has taken place over the past couple months, but the most recent result is held by Maureen Larsen as she competed in the the USA Master’s Marathon Championships hosted by the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon.  She completed the 26.2 course in 3:02:51.  Her time (6:59/mile average) was enough to place her 284th overall, 44th of the women and 9th in her age group.

Nate Stack from Team Nebraska also represented the state well by running a solid time of 2:36:23, which placed him 63rd overall and first of all Nebraskans.

In addition, Craig Christians ran his inaugural race for LRC Racing, as he finished fourth overall in the Omaha Race for the Cure 5k that took place the morning of October 6th.  Craig’s time of 18:25 was also the fastest time in his age group.

There have been many others races in the past two months (Buffalo Run, NWU Alumni, Quad Cities Half/Full, Omaha Midnight Madness and others I’m sure we’ve forgotten), but LRC Racing is particularly excited for the upcoming months that will hold Market to Market, Des Moines Half/Full, Living History Farms, CIM & USATF Club Cross).
