2017 USATF Club Cross Country

The 2017 USATF Club Cross Country Championships was held in Lexington, KY on December 9th. LRC-Racing had another very successful event with our individuals and team competing with the best in our region and country. Not only is it a great opportunity for our team to square up with some great clubs, it is also a chance to build the family and team based relationships we pride ourselves on and that has made us a competitive force.
With a women's 6k and men's 10k being held on a course with rolling hills and multiple loops, runners were able to get into a little more of a rhythm than a typical cross country course. Classic winter conditions (overcast, blustery, cold) kept the course firm instead of the mess it could have been.
With a full women's team, full men's team, and two master's runners, LRC Racing was represented across a number of the races run.

The resurgent women's team place 11th overall. As far as we know the highest placing finish ever by a team from Nebraska.
