Living History Farms Race

This year’s weather for the 36th Living History Farms Race was miles ahead of last year’s race.  The temperatures hovered around 40 degrees, four times higher than the temperature of last year’s race.  The nice temperatures definitely didn’t hurt, and LRC Racing took advantage of the nice day.  On the open side, the men were led by Jason Zakaras (11th, 42:11), Brian Wandzilak (15th, 42:24) and Andrew Jacob (24th, 43:16).  Logan Watley made up the final member of the open team as he finished just behind Andrew (25th, 43:18).  The men’s team ended up finishing as the second overall team, beating the third place team by only one second!

Overall, the team was led by master’s runner Ivan Ivanov (7th overall, 2nd masters, 41:51).  Ivan ran on the master’s team that finished first overall, beating the second place team by over four minutes!  Other LRC Runners on the team were Brian Kelley (4th masters, 45:56), Tim Larsen (5th 46:19), Darin Schlake (8th, 48:06), Jason Schmaderer (9th, 48:15), Craig Christians (10th, 48:31) and Kevin Burke (18th, 52:16).
