Has been a great month for LRC Racing both on and off the roads. Top 10 performances all over the place.
(I wish I had more pictures, but frankly I am lucky to even get this update done. If you read this and have photos to contribute hit me up and I will be happy to update)
Cross Country- A group of 5 guys went up to the Briar Cliff XC Invite on October 6th and actually won the thing over the college dudes. Results won't show the team win as they were unattached, but team score would have placed them on the podium. Lead by Nolan Zimmer, Jacob Olson, and Tanner Brown in the Top 10 and Tim Meyer and Andrew Jacob rounding out the team score.
St. George Marathon- Ryan Regnier made a huge mark on the LR All-Time lists this past weekend. Running a 2:37:35 in Utah, Ryan was 5th Masters, 25th OA. His time obliterated his own Masters record by 8 minutes. He is also now 6th on the overall LRC marathon record board.
Tauranga International Marathon- Ryan Dostal cruised to the overall win in a time of 2:37:01 (didn't have two seconds in you Ryan?). His time places him 5th on the LRC marathon record board. Not a bad time in New Zealand. Maybe gets the record for fastest marathon furthest from the Lincoln Running Company.
Twin Cities 10 Mile- Johnny Rutford represented very well in a regional competition that also served as a USATF championship race. Running 52:17, Johnny set a team record at the 10 mile distance, besting one of the oldest records on our books.
Market to Market Relay- With another record setting performance, LRC Mixed won the overall race and set a mixed team record in this event. LRC Masters continued an incredible streak of team victories.
Des Moines Marathon- Mary Hillis has made her presence felt on the team already in a just few short months. Running 1:21:03, Mary was third overall and her time places her second on the women's half marathon chart. Johnny Rutford was 5th overall on the men's side with a 1:10:15 continuing a very strong fall for him.
As always, if you have results or photos to share please send them our way.
