CIM Marathon
For the women, newcomer Michelle Schmidt ran her inaugural race for the team in a time of 3:10:30, followed closely by Michelle Paxton (3:12:07). Amy McCracken also ran her inaugural LRC race, after dealing with injuries in the months leading up to the race, by running a time of 3:24:24. Those three runners are now 8th, 9th and 10th on the Top 10 Charts, respectively, and Amy’s time is the second fastest time by an LRC masters woman!
In addition, LRC Racing Alum (and co-founder) Eric Noel ran ANOTHER personal record of 2:21:35 at CIM, marking the third consecutive PR he has ran at the same race over the past three years.
The Lincoln Track Club Holiday Run also took place Sunday morning, however, there are no official results for the race. Several LRC men (especially in the masters division) were signed up, and were sure to represent blue and yellow well!
The final race for the team in 2015 will be the 2015 USATF Club XC championships in San Francisco, CA this coming weekend. Trevor Vidlak, Andrew Jacob, Cole Marolf, John Gunderson, Ryan Dostal and Brian Wandzilak will be representing the team (and Nebraska) for the 10k race where the team hopes to improve upon it’s 41st place finishing in last year’s championships.
